Azam Husain is a Product Leader and P&L owner for Caradigm, a Microsoft/GE joint venture in healthcare software, where he runs the Provisioning product group. Azam owns strategic planning, product marketing and business development for the product. Prior to Caradigm, Azam led business operations for Microsoft's multi-billion dollar SQL Server enterprise product group and was a senior advisor to the Corporate Vice-President, Business Platform Division.
Azam has spent 17 years working in enterprise software, consumer internet, and consulting. He has extensive experience working with Fortune 1000 companies in North America, Europe, and Asia, including General Motors, HTC, Thomson Reuters, and Bank of America.
Azam has taught at University of Washington Bothell since 2009. He has taught classes in global business, international marketing, strategy, and operations. Azam received his BA in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
