The expanded UW Bothell School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board provides strategic guidance, helps build external partnerships and deepens the school’s relationship with the business community. Spanning manufacturing, retail, aerospace, accounting, design, software, services, healthcare and consulting, volunteer board members bring their rich experience and broad expertise to bear on the advice they provide the school. Martin Coles - President, CEO and Director
Martin Coles joined HaloSource® as President/CEO in 2011 after a 30+ year career spanning senior executive positions in a number of globally recognized Fortune 500 companies – including Starbucks, Reebok, Nike, Levi Strauss and Procter and Gamble.

Rusdi Kirana - Co-founder and Chairman
Rusdi Kirana is the Co-founder and Chairman of Lion Air, Indonesia’s largest private airline. Rusdi founded the company in 2000 with his brother. Kirana is a native of Indonesia. He is the father of three, including a daughter who is a student at UW Bothell.
Saurabh Sonawala - Managing Director
Saurabh Sonawala is the Managing Director of the Hinditron Group and has more than 25 years’ experience in IT and technology industries and 18 years’ experience managing Hinditron’s IT and other technology businesses.
Chris Barrow - CEO
Chris Barrow has over 20 years of experience in software, technology and services sectors. As CEO of EagleView since early 2008, Chris Barrow Chris has helped build one of the most exciting, dynamic companies in the technology sector.
Dustin Birashk - Partner
Dustin has been in public accounting since 1999 and specializes in audits of financial institutions and financial services companies. Dustin is proficient with community banks, credit unions, de novo institutions, mutual banks and SEC banks.
Scott Bright - Founder
Scott is co-founder of Synapse and co-chair of Synapse's Board of Directors. In his role, Scott gets to talk about one of the things he is most proud of—Synapse. Scott loves sharing what Synapse has done for clients who are innovators and leaders in their industries.
Lewis Carpenter - CEO
Lewis Carpenter is the Chief Executive Officer of Winshuttle. As CEO, he is responsible for leading all aspects of Winshuttle's global business. Lewis brings over 20 years of experience in building and leading successful companies.
Yi Ping (Y.P.) Chan - Principal
Y.P. has over 20 years of experience in business turnaround & restructuring, entrepreneurship, investment, JV & acquisitions, and executive education in Greater China and the United States. He was the CEO of a small public US company. Y.P. obtained both his MBA and MSEE degrees from Columbia University.
Stephen J. Connelly - Finance Director
The Boeing Company
As 737 Program finance director, Stephen is responsible for financial planning, estimating & pricing, cost management, SOX compliance and deal financials for one of the largest programs at Boeing. He joined Boeing in 1982.

A proven visionary and leader in the entrepreneurial investment community. His work translated into investments in over 104 companies, exceeding $61 million placed in start-up companies and other investment opportunities in the Northwest in 2005-2010.
Stan Emert - Founder
Stan Emert has hosted and produced over 1,000 live half-hour community television shows; hosted over 100 live radio shows; and spoken on corporate social responsibility before the American Film Institute, World Bank, and other venues.
Jim Gaherity - President
Jim is an accomplished executive manager of operations with expertise in organizational restructuring, process development and change management. Extensive P&L accountability coupled with solid business analytic skills.

Flip Morse is Senior Vice President at Nintendo of America Inc. He oversees all Human Resource functions. Flip is very active in charitable causes, currently serving as board president of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Puget Sound Affiliate.

Mr. Serroels brings over 35 years experience in engineering and manufacturing in high technology companies including AcousTx, Therus, Tektronix, Philips, and Siemens. Mr. Serroels expertise includes engineering management and operations management.
