Institute Affiliates

Creative collaborations rarely happen by accident. They require structure, strategy and effort, which is exactly why BBTI has been created and why WBBA will be an active participant and supporter. Jack Faris President, Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association

Membership in the Institute Affiliates Program requires a qualifying contribution to the organization. Contribution guidelines for minimum contributions are modest:

$1000/year for startups and companies of fewer than 20 employees
$2,500/year for those with between 20 and 150 employees
$5,000/year for those with between 150 and 1000 employees
$10,000/year for larger companies.

In addition to financial support, opportunities for "in-kind" sponsorships may be available to provide equipment, software, and/or facilities that directly enhance the BBTI education and research missions.

The end result will enhance the competitiveness of life sciences education and research in Washington State and help expand public awareness and understanding of the economic potential of the life science sector.
