What major did you intend to do when you first started here? Community Psychology
What do you hope to do when you graduate? I hope to be a guidance counselor for a Middle School in the States or I would like to take counseling to a country in Latin America.
What is a random fact about you? I love books and I say I love to read. But I continually buy several books and then never read them.
What is your favorite movie(s)? The Harry Potter Series
Why did you choose UWB? I loved the small class sizes and close-knit community feel of the campus.
What do you like about UWB? The professors really care about you and invest time to push you toward your passions. They go out of their way to help you succeed.
What surprised you about UWB? The classes, professors, and faculty are even better than I imagined they would be.
What has been the best class you've taken? Winter Quarter of my freshman year, I took "Intro to Psychology." It became my favorite class because the professor found our personal growth more important than memorizing facts. We learned all of the material that we needed but in a fun and interesting way. The professor also offered several opportunities for us as individuals to reflect on our lives and find the importance in bringing good to the world.
What advice would you give a high school student about going to college? Getting involved on campus is key. Whether it be clubs, student housing, or random events, being involved is the best way to make friends and memories.
