Class of 2010- First Freshmen Class!

Major: Business Administration with a focus in Accounting

Where you're from/ Currently live? I was born in India and lived there until 1997, then moved to Kirkland, WA.

Involvement/ Activities/Internships/Work/Volunteering: I am involved in D.E.C. (college version of DECA), as well as the Dream Project where we help underrepresented students get into college. I also work at Acura of Bellevue as a service advisor.

What do you like best about UW Bothell? The part I like best is that I really feel like it's my family more than my school. The people at UW Bothell (students, faculty, and staff) truly care about you and your well being and everybody knows your name.

How did UW Bothell help you transition from high school to college? UW Bothell helped me adapt in my first year a lot by easing me into college life. During my first quarter classes, we had several speakers come into the class telling us about the various support services the school has to offer like the Quantitative Skills Center and the Writing and Career centers. It really helped me become aware of all the resources available.

What’s next? After college, I plan on becoming a C.P.A and working for a few years as an auditor and then open up my own business. I'm going to retire at the age of 35!

Something interesting about you I don't have a middle name.
