Congrats and welcome to UW Bothell! You are now a member of our Husky family! Take some time to celebrate your achievement. Being admitted to UW Bothell is an accomplishment and another step towards making your dreams a reality.

You may be wondering what you should do now that you are accepted to UW Bothell. Here are the next steps you should take to prepare for school:

  • Look for the Welcome packet that will arrive several days to a week after your letter of admission. The packet contains everything you need to become a Husky, including instructions to accept your offer of admission, submit your measles immunity verification, and to sign up for required Advising & Orientation.
  • Confirm your admission. Admitted undergraduate students are required to submit a nonrefundable $100 deposit to confirm their admission. Once you enroll, the $100 will be credited towards your first quarter’s tuition.
    • Confirmation deposits can be paid over the phone using a VISA or MasterCard by calling the Cashier's Office at (425) 352-3246, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
    • Deadline to confirm: May 1 or 20-calendar days following the date of acceptance after May 1 for fall quarter. For winter and spring quarters, the deposit is due 20-calendar days following the date of acceptance.
  • Measles Immunization Verification Form – Complete and return the Measles Immunization Verification Form to the Office of the Registrar.  You will be blocked from class registration until this form is received AND processed. Download Form
  • Orientation and Advising – Visit the Advising and Orientation page to sign up for orientation. You will be required to attend an advising and orientation program where you learn more about the campus, meet new friends, and register for your first quarter classes.
    • Transfer credit evaluations and degree audits will be available at orientation.
    • Class selection and registration is handled at orientation. An advisor will assist you in planning your degree at UW Bothell.
  • Sign up for a  Math Placement Test (First Year Students Only): UW Bothell offers two test types to enable accurate math placement of students with varying levels of academic preparation. Placement cutoffs reflect the content and difficulty level of each course. Students will choose their test based on the course in which they wish to enroll and their level of academic preparation. Visit the Math Placement Test website for more information.
  • Send your final High School and/or College Transcript(s). Send your final college transcript(s) to the Office of Admissions as soon as your in-progress course work is completed and graded.
  • Activate and monitor your UW Bothell email account. Through this account, UW Bothell will inform you of University events and updates. You are able to activate your email account through MyUW and can read your email online via UW Email.
