Admitted Students


Congratulations! You are now a member of our Husky family! You may be wondering what you should do now that you are accepted.  Here are the next steps you should take:

  • CONFIRM YOUR ADMISSION: All admitted undergraduate and post-baccalaureate (non-masters) matriculated students are required to submit a nonrefundable $100 deposit to confirm their admission. For autumn quarter, this deposit is due by May 1 or 20-calendar days following the date of their acceptance after May 1.  For winter and spring quarters, the deposit is due 20-calendar days following the date of their acceptance.

    *Confirmation deposits can be paid over the phone using a credit card by calling the Cashier’s Office at 425.352.3246, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • SET UP YOUR MYUW NETID: Click here to set up your MyUW NetID account. MyUW is your personal gateway to the University of Washington, and will be essential for future online transactions, including financial aid award details, class registration, transcript orders, etc.

  • MEASLES IMMUNITY VERIFICATION FORM: Complete and return the Measles Immunity Verification Form.  You will be blocked from class registration until this form is received AND processed. Download Form
  • ADVISING AND ORIENTATION: Visit the Advising and Orientation page to sign up for a an orientation. All new students are required to attend an advising and orientation program to learn more about the campus, meet new friends, register for first quarter classes, and get your Husky Card (student ID).    
  • SIGN UP FOR A MATH PLACEMENT TEST (First-Years Only): UW Bothell offers two test types to enable accurate math placement of students with varying levels of academic preparation. Placement cutoffs reflect the content and difficulty level of each course. Students will choose their test based on the course in which they wish to enroll and their level of academic preparation.   • SEND YOUR FINAL TRANSCRIPT(S):  Send your final high school and college transcript(s) to the Office of Admissions as soon as your course work is completed and graded.
  • ACTIVATE AND MONITOR your UW Bothell email account. Through this account, UW Bothell will inform you of University events and updates. You are able to activate your email account through MyUW and can read your email online via UW Email.
  • VISIT OUR CAMPUS: Campus Tours are offered Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) at 3 p.m. Learn more and sign up here.
