Disability Parking

The University of Washington Bothell/Cascadia Community College (UWB/CCC) campus provides designated disabled parking stalls at the following locations:

  • South Garage, Level 2
  • North Garage, Level 3
  • Campus Way NE
  • Central Plant
  • Chase House
  • Truly House
  • CCC3

Disability Permit Required

You must display a state issued disability placard in your vehicle, or license plate on your car in order to legally occupy any of the stalls listed above. In addition to a disability placard or license plate, you are required to have a parking permit or pay per visit.

Visitors with Disabilities

Designated disabled parking is available on a first come, first served basis in front of each building and in each parking garage for mobility impaired accommodations. Daily parking costs $3 per visit (0-3 hours); $6.00 per visit (3 or more hours), and can be purchased (cash only) at the pay stations located at each parking garage.

Students with Disabilities

Students with temporary or longer-term disabilities should contact UW Bothell Disability Resources for Students at 425.352.5307 to initiate a review for reasonable accommodation when accommodation is not fulfilled through the designated disabled parking stalls identified above. If you have a state disability placard, present it and the accompanying confirmation letter to the UW Bothell Disability Resources for Students Office when making your request.

Faculty and Staff with Disabilities

Faculty/staff with temporary or longer-term disabilities must contact UW Bothell Human Resource Manager at 425.352.5462 to initiate a review for reasonable accommodations when accommodation is not fulfilled through the designated disabled parking stalls identified above. If you have a state disability placard, present it and the accompanying confirmation letter to the UWB Human Resource Manager when making your request. UW Bothell will submit form to UW Seattle Disability Services Office for review.

You will be issued a short-term disability-parking permit from the Human Resource Manager while your request for accommodation is being reviewed. Documentation from your health care provider is required as part of your request. Once the review is completed, the Human Resource Manager will contact you with full accommodation information.

Please note that accommodation may not necessarily mean that parking can be provided at a stall closest to your work site, but instead a stall appropriate to the accommodation requirements.

You will be issued a short-term disability-parking permit from the DSS Coordinator while your request for accommodation is being reviewed. Documentation from your health care provider is required as part of your request. Once the review is completed, the DSS Coordinator will contact you with full accommodation information.

Please note that accommodation may not necessarily mean that parking can be provided at a stall closest to your classes, but instead a stall appropriate to the accommodation requirements.

In order to serve the public at large and to provide for appropriate parking accommodations for visitors, all faculty, staff, and students who have state-issued placards should request an initial accommodation review so that parking assignments can be reviewed.

Parking Fees

Parking fees for disabled stalls on campus cost the same as other parking stalls. View current parking rates.
