Undergraduate Learning

Dear Friends,

Welcome to your educational adventure at UW Bothell! I hope you will take advantage of all of your opportunities on and off campus and let us know what additional programs you would like for us to focus on in order to make your learning experience as dynamic as possible.

My office is engaged with cross-campus activities such as Study Abroad, Global Close to Home, Internships, Community-Based Learning, the Debate Society, Diversity Initiatives, Undergraduate Research, and an emerging Campus Honors Program.

We are here to add value to your classroom work, help you connect the dots between your classes and the co-curriculum in Residence and Student Life, support the task of relating school to work, and assist you in linking your local life with that of others in the region and around the world.

What type of learning most excites you? What can you imagine for yourself and your friends? How can technology best enhance our learning? How can we create the most exciting opportunities for future entrepreneurs, social activists, educators, health care workers, scientists, engineers, community psychologists, and engaged artists? What questions inspire you forward to do your best work?

We are your partners in creating your own learning, so please let me know how we can help enliven your academic experience at UW Bothell!

All best,

Gray Kochhar-Lindgren, PhD
Associate Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate Learning
